 A DAY VA TEMPLE – DUONG LAM ANCIENT VILLAGE

 8:00: Car and tour guide pick up you at your hotel to transfer to Va Temple. It’s about 40 km to the North West of Hanoi Center.

 9:00: Reach to Va temple. Favour by nature, this temple was built in the middle of iron forest, opening to your eyes is a fine art architecture of late Le Dynasty, it was recognized as one of historic and cultural vestiges of Vietnam by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism..

9:30: Depart to Duong Lam village:

From Son Tay City, along with the national high way 32 approximately 4 km, we reach the land area which has been existing for hundreds year and maintained a lot of appearances from the Vietnamese villages in the past. This is a Duong Lam ancient village.

10:30: Arrive Duong Lam, visit the big village gate with traditional architecture. Start to explore the ancient village with Mong Phu communal house and some others by bicycles. Stop on the way to enjoy local rice wine, rice cake, green tea…Continue riding around the village to understand more about the normal life of the local people and stop at two main ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house dated back about 400 years ago where we will have lunch.

12:30: Enjoy good meal at the restaurant of local’s ancient house.

13:30: Continue to visit some cultural and historical vestiges in Duong Lam such as: Mia Pagoda, Princess Mia Palace and temple, Giang Van Minh worship houses, Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung King’s Temples.

16:00: Transfer back to Hanoi

18:00: Arrive Hanoi, drop you back at your hotel. Finish the tour.
