Day 1 : Arrival - Hanoi
Upon your arrival, you will be picked up for a transfer to our hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. Check-in. Walk amongst the maze of Hanoi`s old quarter to get an insight into the local life. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2 : Hanoi - Mai Chau ( 140 Km ~ 3 hours)
AM: Sightseeing tour of Hanoi includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (except Monday & Friday), One Pillar Pagoda, theTemple of Literature - Vietnam`s 1st university, Ngoc Son Temple by the Hoan Kiem Lake.
PM: Drive westward to Mai Chau (Hoa Binh province). Visit a White Tai minority village. Overnight in the homestay in Mai Chau.
Day 3 : Mai Chau - Son La ( 170Km ~ 4 hours)
AM: Visit Mai Chau market and surrounding villages.
PM: Drive to Son La. Son La is located in a scenic valley, inhabited by Thai, Muong and H`mong minority people. This area is historically important for its involvement in the Vietnamese struggle for independence from the French Colonialist during the first half of the 20th century. Overnight at hotel in Son La.
Day 4 : Son La - Dien Bien Phu ( 180Km ~ 7 hours)
Visit the former French Prison then drive to the colorful market of Thuan chau and villages of Blue H’mong on Pha Din pass. Lunch in Tuan Giao before making our way to Dien Bien Phu where you can see the former battlefield and the display of war scraps from battlefields.Overnight at hotel in Dienbienphu.
Day 5 : Dien Bien Phu - Lai Chau ( Old Tam Duong) ( 200 Km ~ 7 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Lai Chau. You will have a long journey through fantastic mountainous scenery and pass many ethnic villages of the Red H`Mong, Kho Mu & Zdao people. Overnight in Lai Chau ( Old Tam Duong).
Day 6 : Tam Duong – Binh Lu - SaPa ( 90 Km ~ 3 hours)
Visit the colorful market of Tam Duong before making our way through scenic scenery and villages before reaching Sa Pa. Upon arrival Sapa. Overnight at hotel in Sapa
Day 7 : Sa Pa
Am: Take a walk to a nearby village of Ca Cat for hunting phopos of Muong Hoa valley and a water fall.
Pm: Relax or go shopping downtown until transfer to lao Cai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train (Breakfast included)
Day 8 : Arrival Hanoi – Departure
05:00 Am - Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to local “pho” for breakfast then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
