 2 DAYS  HOA LU  - TAM COC – PERFUME PAGODA

 Day 1: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC ( L ) :

8.00 – 8.30: Our car will pick you up at your hotel.

10:00 – 10:30:  Arrive at Hoa Lu - the old capital of Vietnam during the Dinh ( 968-980AD ) and early Le ( 980-1009AD ) dynasties. We spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries. These are the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. The first is dedicated to Dinh Tien Hoang, an Emperor from the Dinh Dynasty. The second commemorates the rulers of the Le Dynasty.

12:00 :  We move on to Tam Coc for lunch then take a rest for a few minutes.

13:00: Continue to take 2,5 hour boat trip along the Boi River. This area is rightly often referred as the “ Ha Long Bay on land ” due to the similar topography. Take in the beauty of the karsts formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. Stop for a short rest near a small shrine before returning to the dock. Overnight in Tam Coc.

Day 2: HOA LU – TAM COC – PERFUME PAGODA – HANOI ( B, L ) :

8:00 AM: After breakfast, head to Perfume pagoda.

10.30: Reach Duc habour, getting on the rowing boat:

* We have an hour to enjoy marvelous scenery along the Yen River which surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, as well as the historical grandeur of the pagoda complex such as Trinh Temple ( Registration Shrine ).

* Trekking up ( one hour ) or go by cable car to Huong Tich Mountain to visit the main cave ( inner cave ) that located inside the cave with the same name and enjoy the art of nature-made here.

* Going down to visit Thien Tru ( Heaven’s Kitchen the name shows its meaning: the pagoda islocated under the constellation of eating and drinking ) pagoda which is at the bottom of the mountain also called outer pagoda.

Lunch will be at one of the best food stalls near Thien Tru Pagoda.

16.00: Enjoy picturesque countryside on the way back to Hanoi.Arrive Hanoi around 18:00
