A DAY CHARMING AND HISTORIC HANOI

 Morning: Mini bus or private car picks you up at your hotel at 08.00.

* Start the tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum- a monumental marble edifice to enjoy the architecture and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting palace. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts where he used to live in the past and the Presidential Palace. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda with the structure that has become an important symbol for Hanoi people, and ancient Dien Huu Pagoda.

*  Finish morning activities by visiting the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam- Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Have lunch as local restaurant.

Afternoon: Proceed to visit the outstanding Vietnam Museum of Ethnology- widely acknowledged as the best in the country with an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples, comprehensive array of exhibits inside, and also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the grounds.

* Visit the epicenter of old Hanoi, the enchanting body of water- Lake of the Returned Sword and nearby sights such as Temple of the Jade Mountain, Morning Sunlight Bridge.

Evening: Relax for an hour (Visitors can come back to the hotels)

* Visitors can choose one of two options:

1. Water Puppet: originated in the countryside of Vietnam’s Red River Delta, which has preserved and nurtured this unique and traditional theatrical art over the centuries. It was a court entertainment during the Ly & Tran Dynasties, reflects normal life of Vietnamese farmers in countryside region.

2.“Ca tru” Singing Show: is a Vietnamese typical declamation of poem with components, such as: lyrics, melody, and 3 traditional instruments, including: Dan Day (Plucked lute), Phach ( small wooden sticks beaten on a small bamboo platform to serve as percussion), and Drum. To find out more about Vietnamese special culture as well as traditional art, you are respectfully invited to attend and enjoy the sweetest sonorities in our concert.

Notes: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum are closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of Oct/Nov every year.

* People wearing shorts, tank tops and so on will not be admitted.
